I just upgraded from Tiny Forge to Tiny Framework and I can’t find a way to remove (or clear, or hide) the message banner showing on my console:

“Thank you for using Tiny Framework! Please check out a valuable user guide: How to use Tiny Framework and its child themes: a comprehensive guide. Happy coding! (hide this message)”

Everything else about the plugin is great except this problem. There is no “remove” button (or equivalent) and I’ve been clicking on the “hide this message” link a number of times and the message never hides even for a second, it just sits there.

Does anyone else experienced this problem and how to solve it?

Note that I installed a fresh new WordPress on two different sites (both a public and a test site) and both show the same issue.

Hi, this problem originated because WP changed the way of hiding the boxes.

I just pushed version 2.2.1 that should solve this issue.

BTW this issue is depended on theme translation, so if you are using other language than English, you might have to wait a couple of days for another update that will update language files.

Thank you for the update, Tomas!

The message is now gone, but another message seems to like to persist:
“Thank you for using Tiny Framework! Please check out a valuable user guide: How to use Tiny Framework and its child themes: a comprehensive guide. Happy coding!”

This one actually has the (X) button on the right edge, and clicking on it dismisses the message. However, what I am seeing on my setup is that message comes back after I click on any other WP option (like “Pages”, “Users”). Could it simply be the new code missed that one message?

I will have to investigate this behavior.

Please test if this version solves the issue:

Yes, this version worked well and appeared to fix the issue.

    Thanks!
