unable to hide VC About page

The visual composer menu item is not a standard menu item…

adding the following to your functions.php will hide it:

function custom_menu_page_removing() {
    remove_menu_page('vc-welcome');
}
add_action( 'admin_init', 'custom_menu_page_removing' );

Code is not necessary. The plugin switch the slug after an other role is logged in.

@frank, what do you mean, slug? if i login as a different user the Welcome page is still there. The code fixed it!

The slug is the url param, there was used for each menu item. Have you seen the hwo to on the other ticket, that works without coding.
