    Hello
I’m trying to import my website that was exported from localhost, after reaching 100% it gives me an error message “Unable to import” “Unable to open file for reading. File:/home/schoolma/public_html/wp-content/plugins/all-in-one-wp-migration/storage/0c8dddhwxjza/localhost-schoolmaster-20181030-215332-864.wpress”.
    Please help

Note: I tried a new wordpress install still the same message.

    Thanks in advance

What is your hosting provider and plan that you are using?
The message indicates that there might be a problem with permissions. Try to make the store folder readable and writeable then retry the import again.

I checked the folder permissions it’s readable and writeable plus it was working properly before but I made some major updates on my website so I deleted it and installed a fresh wordpress and since then it’s giving me that message.

Could you try to uninstall and install the plugin again?
It will re-create all the folders.

    How large is the file?

You can enable WP_DEBUG_LOG in wp-config.php and then check it to see the exact error that occurs.

@yaniiliev file size is 207MB and it was working properly before with larger file sizes. Also I tried deleting and re-installing the plugin but still the same problem.

@noumanabbas Right, the problem indeed started after installing the latest update of the plugin, too bad I don’t have a backup for an older version.
