Unable to import blogger

    For the past two day I have been unable to import my blogger account into wordpress, I get the following error message:

    Something went wrong. If the problem persists, send this info to support:

    Can anyone help me out to solve this problem?

    Sorry Guys,

    But I tried the fix and it did not work for me.

    I would like to know what is going on with the ticket that Katybeth sent in and mrmist said would be fixed soon?

    Just for haha’s I tried the fix again, this time it seemed to have worked but halfway through the download it may have crashed the server I was uploading to.

    Crashing the server seems to be a big problem since switching over to wordpress version3.0, but that is a problem fro a different thread.

    The issue has now been officially fixed. Just update your Blogger import plugin to 0.3.

    When I try to install a blogger importer or even a wordpress importer, it gives an error message —
    Warning: touch(): Unable to create file C:\inetpub\vhosts\marketingcurry.com\httpdocs/wp-content/blogger-importer.tmp because Permission denied in C:\inetpub\vhosts\marketingcurry.com\httpdocs\wp-admin\includes\file.php on line 199

    what is the reason?? please help

    Sorry to say the issue may have been fixed but it appears broken again. I just tried to use the importer and got this message from Mr G.

    “The page that you have requested cannot be displayed. Another site was requesting access to your Google Account, but sent a malformed request. Please contact the site that you were trying to use when you received this message to inform them of the error. A detailed error message follows:

    The site “https://watthaitemple.com&#8221; has not been registered.”

    This is the fourth blog I have imported to WP and the first i have experienced a problem with.

    Any suggestions please.

    Im generally new to WP and am getting the same problem that thetefldon is getting…does the work around still work?
    any help is greatly appreciated-thanks
