No valid .csv file was found at the specified url. Please check the “Select Input File” field and ensure it points to a valid .csv file.

Export works fine. But I keep getting the above message trying to import. I tried with and without increment id column, with and without first row with column names. I am sure it is a proper , delimited csv. Also tried importing the csv I exported. To no avail.

    Any ideas?

Hi, what type of file format are you trying to import into your database? Also try a different file for testing purposes. Sometimes the file you are trying to import is corrupted.

Also make sure the file encoding is correct.

    Thank you

I tried several csv files, saved by excel and also the export made by the plugin itself. I uploaded to the media library in several ways. Made sure the link was to the actual http …. .csv.
What kind of file encoding should I look at?

    Hi, try the following.

Change the Text Encoding of the CSV file to “UTF-8”.

Also make sure the CSV file has the fields delimited by commas “,”. So change all the delimitation from semicolons “;” to commas “,”.

Let me know if the above helps.

    Regards

I saved with the right settings now. Unfortunately it didn’t help.

Hi, there is not much more I can do to help you.

However, lets try one more action. Export to a csv file, then make a slight change in the csv file data, then import it again. Let me know if the works.

    Thank you
