Unable to import demo content

That is old demo content.

You can install demo content easily by using following theme plugin.

@vinod-dalvi, I have that plugin activated already; doesn’t seem to make a difference.

You don’t have to just activate that plugin. The plugin provides an option to import demo(dummy) content and you don’t have to use WXR file to import it.

Have you tried using the plugin option to import demo content?
