So I have this website in espaiginart.com, which I just downloaded with the Export option All In One plugin, because in this domain I want to upload another website I have.

What I want to do is to keep this original website in a localhost (xampp). So after I have downloaded, I go to my localhost and I try to Import these file I previoulsy got from espaiginart.com but I get an error. The importation is done completely to 100% without any issue, but after I get these messages:

    Unable to import
Unable to open file for reading. File: /opt/lampp/htdocs/mysite/wp-content/plugins/all-in-one-wp-migration/storage/h1f7qlwpub2j/espaiginart.com-20200915-110119-fblmeo.wpress

Any idea of what could it be? Thanks in advance.

    Hi,

I read these 2 guides before and, as I specified in this post, those are not my problems.

The error I get is not related to maximum upload file. I had this issue before and I solved it, so that’s why in this post I haven’t said anything related to file size.
Also, in the post I clearly specify that when I import it is done to 100% and it is completely done, so it is not stuck (referring to the 2nd post you added).

Please, take a look at the error I have which is not related to what you say.
Also, I am trying to import in a localhost, if that helps.

Please, can you mark this post as unresolved?

    Thanks.

    It is, actually.
When you upload a file, it happens in your browser.
The 100% that you see means that you have transferred the file from your computer over to the server. When 100% is reached, the plugin tries to read this uploaded file but it does not exist. It does not exist because:
    – The server removed it because it is > max_upload_size
    – The server ran out of memory
    – The server ran out of disk space
    – Hosting restrictions
    – … other reasons

    Hi,

I am trying to import it into XAMPP. It is completely empty: no database, no website, nothing… I have just installed it. How can it be running out of memory when I try to upload a 100MB file? I have check myself that the size limit is higher than 100 so this is not the problem.

Something is not configured correctly. I cannot say exactly what it is because every environment is different.
In How to Increase Maximum Upload File Size in WordPress there are 4 different ways to solve the issue.
Try using a plugin option and if it works for you then it is the server configuration.
