• I’m trying to use this plugin for the first time and import my data from my Freshbooks account but it does not work.

    I get this error message:

A cURL error occured: Couldn’t resolve host ‘https’

Could you explain this error better and help me figure out why it is unable to connect? Have I missed something or done something wrong?

    Please let me know.

I look forward to your reply.

That error is coming from the Freshbooks API class but I’m not exactly sure why that error would show.

Here are some assumptions I’m making:

    1. You’re running the latest version of Sprout Invoices
    2. You’re only putting in the subdomain into the “Account/Sub-domain” option
    1. Don’t put https://yoursubdomain.freshbooks.com; just enter the subdomain
    • You have curl installed on your server
    • Please review those and make sure my assumptions are correct. If not let me know (or test with the adjustment).

Let me know wether that helps or not.

It was step 2. I put the full subdomain. I think you should make that a little more clearer.

    It works now, thank you.

I agree. I’m just not sure how. Maybe I’ll just check programmatically.

Glad it’s working though and thanks for trying Sprout Invoices.
