    Hi there,
I’m using Wordfence free version now and when I’m trying to fast index my site through DMCA…I’m getting this error message.

“No pages found in the sitemap. This might indicate that this site uses anti-DDOS or Web Application Firewall (WAF) features. DMCA.com automated indexing may be blocked by default. For best results, we recommend adding an exception for the following User-Agent string: DMCA.com Page Protection Crawling Service”

    Please Help!

Hi @seeker193, thanks for reaching out to us!

I think the best options available to you are either adding the exception manually as stated in your information message or enabling Learning Mode and trying again.

If you opt for Learning Mode, on the Wordfence Dashboard click on Manage WAF. Then you will see Basic Firewall Options > Web Application Firewall Status. Change the option to Learning Mode. Now attempt to access the site with DMCA.com’s crawling service again. This will help Wordfence learn that these actions are normal and it will allow them in the future. After you have finished performing the actions, switch the WAF from Learning Mode back to Enabled and Protecting. Now test to see if these actions work correctly.

Alternatively, you can navigate to Wordfence > All Options > Allowlisted URLs and input the following under the 3 input boxes for “Add Allowlisted URL/Param

    • URL: /
    • Param Type: Header
    • User-Agent: DMCA.com Page Protection Crawling Service

Let me know how that goes for you!

    Peter.
