    Hi,

    I’m unable to insert the gallery that I’ve created into a page. I’m unable to click on the button ‘ Insert Gallery ‘ or it is unresponsive.

    Please advise.

  • I’m having a similar problem. When I click the ‘add gallery’ button on a page or post a window opens where i can do just about everything exept choose a gallery to insert.

    Hi @urbannakmuay, @unika,

    I would be happy to help. Can you please first make sure that you are using the latest version of NextGen?

    If the issue still shows up, let’s check to see if there is a plugin conflict happening. Temporarily deactivate all plugins, then reactivate NextGEN Gallery only. Does the issue still appear? If so, temporarily switch to a WordPress default theme (this deactivation is only intended to quickly check to see if the issue goes away or is still present). If by deactivating the other plugins the issue does go away, reactivate each of the other plugins one at a time to locate the culprit. Keep me posted on your results ??

    Hi Mihai,

    I’ve ruled out plugin and theme conflicts. I’ve done as advised but am still unable to click the button. I’ve also updated to the latest version.

    Let me know what else I can do.

    Hi Eugene,

    So just to make sure. You are unable to click on the “Add Gallery” button ( or it doesn’t do anything ) or the problem is with the “Insert Gallery” button from the “Insert Gallery Window”?

    Hi Mihai,

    The problem is with the “Insert Gallery” button from the “insert Gallery Window”

    It shows it as clickable but no action is happening.

    Hi @urbannakmuay,

    98% of the time an issue like this would be related to a plugin conflict… let’s try this – open up your site in a different browser in ‘incognito mode’ and see if that helps. It could be that a browser plugin/extension is getting in the way and causing that issue to occur. Keep us posted on your results ??

    Hi @urbannakmuay,

    Thanks for sharing the screen capture video. I have seen that you tried there to disable the plugins and test with NextGen Gallery activated only.

    Can you please confirm that you have tried to switch to a generic theme like “Twenty Seventeen” just to make sure that there isn’t any side effect because of the theme?

    Hi Mihai,

    I’ve done these two steps before I posted here and I’m testing it and I can confirm that it is still not working for the theme 2017.

    and I am still unable to insert any gallery into the page.

    Let me know if you need a video for that.

    If these two issues, theme and plugin conflicts, are ruled out, are you able to advise the next step?

    We’d like to take a closer look at the insert gallery issue. We may need to temporarily deactivate plugins and switch the theme while troubleshooting. Would you feel OK with that?
