Hi and sorry To disturb you (Fabian), but i think only you can help us to solve our problem : I’ve seen that with wp 4.4, some recent changes make the wp-filebase plugin had problems (error : unable to insert item into db ! Column file_hash cannot be null) that were corrected in latest version of wp-filebase.
Problem is that we are using an old version of filebase that was modified for our specific usage, and which since wp 4.4 gives us that exact same problem…
What have we got to do to correct only that and continue to add files in our database exactly the same way we did before the update..? (Our version is based on the 0.2.9.33, yes it’s old but perfect for us)

I guess the HTTP request is making the problem, please see the inspection

was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure script ‘https://api.flattr.com/js/0.6/load.js?mode=auto’. This request has been blocked; the content must be served over HTTPS.
is there any way I can fix that in my end?

I think this plugin has been discontinued ? The author has removed the file in the plugin directory and WordPress File Upload is different author.

@jetskun: Easiest fix is to edit the Mysql table structure with PhpMyAdmin (allowing NULL values for file_hash)

@wp-newbee: check your browsers’ console to see what the server responded.

It did solve mine, it may solve your problem.

I’ve downloaded the file from the link provided and extracted it. Unfortunately, I’m new to WordPress and there’s no instruction set as to what I should do with these files next.
