I have Sitekit installed on my WordPress Elementor site. It is showing Tag Manager is not connected and when I try to give access I get the error message:
You don’t have permissions to authenticate with Site Kit.

Ive tried uninstalling security and cache, doing in private mode and still not having any success. Can you please help?

Thanks for getting in touch, hopefully we can assist. So we can understand your setup more can you share the following:

    1. Your Site Health information here or privately?
    2. Did you install and setup Site Kit yourself, using the same Google profile when connecting each service?

Many thanks for sharing. As Analytics is a requirement for Tag Manager setup at present can you try and disconnect the Analytics module before connecting once more? After doing so you can then try and connect the Tag Manager module again.

When setup up Analytics you may encounter a similar permissions warning, in particular as you’ve restored your site from a backup. You may need to remove this existing property or grant access to this property from Analytics directly in order to successfully setup Site Kit. From looking at your Site Health information the Analytics snippet wasn’t inserted via Site Kit.

As we didn’t receive a response I’ll mark this as resolved. Feel free to open a new support topic if you continue to encounter issues, or reopen this topic and we’d be happy to assist.
