I have set up the mailchimp app in the integrations section (which includes adding the API key and it shows it is connected);however, when I go into the quiz I created and then into the integration section there, it is not showing up as an option to select. I would really like to be able to use this quiz to grab emails to subscribe to my mailing list.

Thank you in advance for you help.

    Hello there @beautifulandcourageous33

This sounds like some kind of conflict as I couldn’t replicate in my end

Can you check console log in your browser for any error messages?
    For example in Chrome: https://developers.google.com/web/tools/chrome-devtools/open#console

If there’s nothing there, could you please proceed with a conflict test? First, create a recent backup in case you lose any settings during the test and have to restore to a previous working state.
Then deactivate all plugins apart from Forminator, activate a default theme like TwentyTwenty, clear all caches and check again if the issue is still there. If not, it means that something is conflicting, so start activating the remaining plugins and theme, one by one this time, checking every time for the reported issue, until you reproduce the issue, thus finding the conflicted combination. The following flowchart image can assist you during this test: https://premium.wpmudev.org/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/Support-Process-Support-Process.gif
If this is a live website with traffic, I’d rather advise to create a staging environment, meaning a complete and exact copy of this installation into another location/folder in the same server, using a separate database, and perform the test in there instead without worrying about the live site.

    Warm regards,
    Dimitris

Here is what I see when I set up mail chimp in the integrations: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1vESa6vdES1eCw0vyvkjdFHVIGd28GLFE/view?usp=sharing

Here is what I see when I edit my quiz and attempt to integrate mailchimp. It doesn’t show up as an options. I have tested zapier and google sheets and those pop up as intended but mailchimp wont.

I am going through your flow chart now and testing to see if there is a conflicting plug in.

    Hi @beautifulandcourageous33

I am going through your flow chart now and testing to see if there is a conflicting plug in.

Did you manage to identify any conflict there? Let us know about test results, please, when you’re ready.

Please also try clearing all caches on site and server (especially if there’s an object cache active on server) and if that still doesn’t help, try disconnecting Mailchimp and connecting it again.

    Best regards,
    Adam

I still have not been able to rectify this. There does not seem to be any other plug ins interfering and I have tried disconnecting and reconnecting mailchimp with no success. I am at a loss at this point.

I even cleared the cache and went through everything again with no success.

FYI, I’m having the same problem. I connected MailChimp and it says everything is connected properly. However, when I go to the Integrations tab in a quiz I created, it tells me I have no integrations set up.

I also cleared the site’s cache, but no fix.

    Hi @beautifulandcourageous33

    Thanks for response!

I must also apologize as we both – Dimitris and me – somehow missed the crucial information here. You’re referring all the time to quiz specifically while we kind of “automatically” referred to forms because… MailChimp is not available for quizzes.

I’m really sorry for confusion and apologize for our mistake.

Some of the integrations might only be available for Forms, that’s especially true for “mailing” integrations as quizzes are not designed there to gather visitors data. They are also not able to e.g. send e-mail notifications from the plugin to visitors submitting quizzes.

This might change in future as it’s been requested already to add an option to “gather user data” (so e.g. user e-mail) via quizzes and polls (instead of forms only) and once that’s done, it will also be possible to send notifications directly from plugin to those users and it will open the way to make MailChimp integration available for quizzes too. I don’t have an ETA though.

There’s a Zapier integration available though so I believe this can then be used to integrate further with MailChimp, as a workaround.

    @sydneylm

If you’re also referring to quizzes, please see my response above. However, if it’s about forms, please start a separate thread of yours (as per this forum guidelines) so we could assist you better.

    Kind regards,
    Adam

Yup, I was referring to a quiz. That solves it. Thank you!

I’ll add my name to the request for that feature. It would be great to use a quiz as a lead magnet. For example, I have a personality quiz (one of those ‘Which [X] Are You?’ things). It would be great if I could have users enter their email address in order to see their results.

    Thanks!

    Hi @sydneylm,

We’re hoping to see this option available in one of the future versions and have an ability to gather user emails before/on submission ??

    Cheers,
    Predrag
