Unable to issue refund

    I’ve had to cancel a transaction due to suspicious credit card activity.

    When trying to issue a refund on WooCommerce, I click on the refund button at the bottom of the order. Then fill in the refund amount next to the lines.

    But there is no refund button that appears on the bottom right. All that I can see is a Cancel button on the bottom left.

    This particular transaction went through WooCommerce Payments. The order status is currently Pending.

    I have previously been able to issue refunds in this same circumstance. Despite repeating the exact same steps, I can’t get the refund button to appear in the bottom right.

    My apologies for the delay in getting back to you. Were you able to get this resolved? If not, do you see the payment in the Payments > Transactions list? If it’s not there and the order is set to pending, that could indicate that it wasn’t actually paid for.

    If you do see the payment in Payments > Transactions and still can’t send a refund, please open up a ticket at WooCommerce.com so we can help you further with this.
