When I enter the Settings page for WooCommerce, I see the message:
“Unable to load lists from MailChimp: () . Please check your Settings settings.”
Furthermore, the link to settings, “https://www.mysite.com/wp-admin/WOOCOMMERCE_MAILCHIMP_SETTINGS_URL” is an non-existent page.
Otherwise, the functioning of the interface with MailChimp is working correctly and MailChimp reports no errors in the API.

    1) Is this message coming from your plugin?
    2) If so, what could be causing it?

Hi @saintsystems. I haven’t received a response to the first email I sent. Can someone please get back to me? I also received this notification by email:

SS_WC_MailChimp_Handler::subscribe(): WooCommerce MailChimp subscription failed: Your merge fields were invalid. (ss-wc-mc-api-request-error)

Not quite sure how to fix this. I’ll remove the plugin until this can be resolved but I do hope to get a response from you as this has been going on for a while.

Ok. We finally tracked down this issue! It’s an erroneous error that shouldn’t be displaying. It’s because there are no interest groups for the selected list.

We just published version 2.1.11 to the WordPress plugin repository which should correct this issue.

Please let us know if you encounter any further issues after updating.

@saintsystems I’ve deleted your offer to login to your user’s site. I’m am 100% sure you mean well but please never ask for credentials on these forums.

Now for the why: The internet is a wonderful place full of very nice people and a few very bad ones. I’m sure everyone here is very nice however, by giving some ones keys to your house you are trusting they wont steal anything. Likewise the person who takes the keys is now responsible for the house FOREVER.

If something was to go wrong, then you the author may well legally become liable for damages, which they would not normally have been as their software is provided without warranty.

Please be aware that repeatedly asking for credentials will result in us asking you to repeatedly stop before escalating up to the plugins team.
