• Good day, WP support team,

How do I load my playground testing website on Safari?

As I’m currently developing several drafts for the website, I could not load them on Safari for all devices. I have tried on Mobile, Tablet, and Desktop. They all prompt the similar issue, which is the errors ‘cannot parse response’ and ‘trouble connecting with the website’. I have tried using WP site health tool to troubleshoot the issue. I have found that my WP is using php 7.1 version. Could that be the issue causing my website to not load on Safari browser? Please advice any solutions and methods that I can try. Thank you in advance.

Attached below is the error I’ve been receiving:

one reason could be an antivirus program called ESET which is installed on your device. Is this the case?

Another reason could be a configuration for HTTP connections. More details including solution which can be found in Safari settings: https://serverfault.com/questions/937253/https-doesnt-work-with-safari

Note: both solutions have nothing to do with WordPress. It concerns a layer that is processed with every request before WordPress and cannot be influenced by WordPress at all.

    Hi Threadi,

According to your solutions, I believe is not applicable because i have tried on multiple different devices. On the other note, I do not have the antivirus ESET on my mac to be exact.

Is there any other solutions? I have tried deactivating all my WordPress plugins and that didn’t seemed to be the problem. I have seen several other users who had the same problem but I could not find the one that solves my issue. Regardless, I greatly appreciate your help.

As already written, the cause of the error message is in a layer before WordPress, so changes there will not do anything.

Have you already looked at the 2nd tip? It could be due to a setting in Safari.

Furthermore, you could also contact the hoster, possibly they know the problem with their technology and could also help you.

Another alternative would be to change the hoster. There are many hosting options to install WordPress.

Hi @han2817 , what version of Safari are you using?
