Hi, since upgrading Wordfence to Version 7.3.1 (and entering my recaptcha Google keys in the login options) I am unable to log in.

When I try to log in I’m sent an email with the subject “Login Verification Required”. I follow the link in the email back to my login page but clicking the login button there does nothing.

I have to remove the plugin folder to be able to log in.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Dave

  • I had the same problem, it was caused by reCapcha V2 which is not supported. I had to remove the Wordfence tables in my database. Then a ran a new setup of the Firewall settings, this time added reCapcha V3 sitekey and secret.

Thank you @lennilg – that was it!!!

I’ve just deleted the Wordfence folder, logged in, reinstalled Wordfence and entered the new V3 keys and it works.

    Thanks you!!

I am having the exact same problem and I am pretty sure that I am using the V3 keys. I believe this since I followed the wordfence link to the Google reCAPTCHA page and on the Google page it also said V3. Does anyone else have any suggestions?
    Thanks

Update: Sorry, my mistake. I was using V2 and switched to V3. Now I am able to login. I didn’t have to remove wordfence, I only had to change to the proper keys and save.
