Unable to log in to wp-admin

    I set up a WP site for a friend. All fine until randomly and suddenly she is unable to log-in to wp-admin.

    However. I can. using the same user and pw.
    Latest version of WP, 20/15 theme, no plugins except Akismet.

    She’s tried on PC and ipad. No joy
    Moved to different Wifi set up.
    Changed browser, cleared cache, cookies and stored pw’s.
    I have ensured we are not logged in on any other devices and logged out myself.

    How come I can log in and she cant?
    I made a new user and pw. She still cant log in. I can.

    We have both recently downloaded and used the WP app on our phones. This is the only recent change I can think off.

    Any ideas gratefully received.

  • What is the error message that she’s getting? Or is it just blank?

    She just keeps getting ‘incorrect user name or password’ messages.
    and she’s sent me a screen shot. She is using correct user and pw.
