Unable to log into Mastodon instance

    Hello l1am0!

    With the latest version of the plugin I’m unable to finish the authentication process. After clicking “Authorize” on the oauth page on my instance, I’m redirected to the front page of my WordPress blog and nothing more happens. When I return to the admin panel of my blog, it is still asking me to log into my Mastodon instance.

    I’m running WP 4.9.10 Multisite

    Is it the first time you login with the plugin or did it work before?

    It’s the first time, I was trying to set it up upon the initial installation. I had to remove v. 3.2.7 and download 3.2.6, and it worked.

    Also, while you’re here. ?? Does the “Excerpt” shortcode in advanced settings mean actually Excerpt field from the post? It’s just that today I tried it for the first time on actual post, and it had a separate excerpt, but what got actually posted was the beginning of the post. Is it by design, or is it an issue?

    On what mastodon version is your server? The big change that came with 3.2.7 is the new scopes. They are a bit newer mastodon feature. Maybe your server does not yet support them?

    Regarding excerpt: It is by design the beginning of your post ??

    My instance is on v. 2.7.4. I’m not sure if it’s the most recent version or not.

    As for the excerpt, it would’ve been better if there was at least a choice. I was sure it worked exactly like in WP itself: excerpt if it exists or the beginning of the post if there’s no separate excerpt.

    The login works again with the current version. Was a flaw in the auth flow. Sorry for that.
