Unable to login

  • About 9PM CDT I found myself unable to log into my site, or, rather, after about 3 minutes I got tired of waiting at the login screen, as I imagine my users would also. I and all of them are whitelisted, btw.

    After disabling BruteProtect via FTP, I was able to enter immediately and navigate the backend. Upon reactivating BruteProtect, things slowed to a crawl. My BruteProtect counter of attacks had not changed that I could tell.

    What seems to be the problem? At a certain point, this sort of delay exceeds the nuisance of a zombie attack.
