unable to login after changing language

  • I have a site that I want to appear in spanish. I followed all guidelines in codex of getting the es_ES.mo and .po files, created a languages folder in wp-content and put the files in the folder, updated my wp-config.php file as instructed.

    My problem is this… when I go to the site after making the changes the localization is working… April appears as Abril, etc…. However, when I go to login to the back end I get an error and it will not allow me to login…. If I change back to my old wp.config file for english I can again login… but the site is not in spanish then of course.

    HELP… what am I missing???
