• I was creating a website on wordpress (using a wordpress template but can’t remember the name of it) & when I returned to continue editing it (was still up on my screen, never logged out), I clicked the pages tab & it refreshed & showed a white screen with “pageok” located in the top left corner of the screen. So, I clicked the backspace bar & it took me back to the appearance page but it would not allow me to do anything other than that. Every time I tried clicking any other tab on the screen (pages, posts, etc.) it would take me to “pageok”. I thought maybe if I logged out of wordpress & tried logging back in, it might would correct the problem. So, I did that & now when I attempt to sign in I receive the “pageok” screen & I am unable to attempt to enter my username & password. My site is hosted at website palace which seems to be running fine. I am able to log in to one of my other wordpress sites which has a different username & password so I am certain that wordpress is not just down at the moment. Please help me log in to edit my wordpress site at shear-wood.com/wp-admin/. I am unable to even view anything at this point. Thanks in advance!

*The site was working correctly before this problem occurred. I was able to update information & view the site outside of wordpress without a problem. I even updated it & viewed it after making the last change to one of the pages but as of today, I am unable to access the wordpress login screen & cannot even attempt to login as an admin. Someone please help. Thanks again!

Did you ever find a fix for this problem? I’m having the same issue.

I am working on this issue for one of my pages, and found this advice:
Make sure your host record (“A” record) is pointing to the correct IP address.

If you have your domain registered with GoDaddy, the steps are below (it will be similar for other domain registrars)

Log in to the “Domains” tool.
    Select your domain
    Click “DNS Zone File”
Check the relevant host record (you may have several). If there is only one it will have the host name “@”. Make sure the IP address matches the one you noted down before. If not, change it.

Note: DNS changes can take a long time to propagate through the Internet. If you make a change to your DNS Zone File, it could take up to 48 hours to full propagate. Further, some devices such as home routers cache DNS records so you may need to wait some time before testing changes to DNS records.
