Unable to login into Wp-admin

    Hi Folks

    I am newbie on XAMPP Server and i have done installations of WordPress on localhost ( XAMPP server) however i am not able to login onto WordPress back-end part (wp-admin). i tried putting the correct user name and password but says no user found.
    Tried clearing Cookies and restart XAMPP Apache & MYSQL but it didnt work.

    Please help.

    I have re-install wordpress 4.7.3 then manually entered the information in php and it worked.

    WordPress loops the user logins back to the home page (logged out) – can’t understand what is happening…. Took it up with web Host – they blames WordPress

    Unable to upgrade users eg. from subscriber to Administrator
    Disabled plugins – still unable to login
    When plugins enabled – errors on RSS importer, iThemes security plugins etc

    Has anyone else experience this error?
