Unable to login, sufficient permission denial

    I’m getting the “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.”

    I received a login and admin-rights by the administrator. I made changes and decided to remove a user (not the administrator), which did not need access anymore. When I tried logging in again, it came with the error message. And my ftp login had stopped working.

    Strangely though, after it says “You do not have…”, it shows me the wp admin bar, but none of the links are working, but my user is shown with name and photo – and I can logout.

    I read that somebody used the program WP-CLI to correct stuff one the troubled wp site. Can this be done for me too?

    Here is how it looks.

    So you can’t login and your FTP is not working either ? If that’s the case, sounds like a server issue – have you checked with your host?

    Also try clearing your browser cache and cookies.

    It’s a little weird with the login issue, because technically I can login, for the server to know I don’t have permission.

    I’m trying to contact the administrator and see if I’m the only one having the issue. But it’s sunday…

    Cache has been cleared.

    Solved: All passwords had been changed.
