I been using woocommerce for over a year, have the latest version of everything.

Lately i am unable to login to wp-admin
I renamed the plugins folder just to get in again. then changed plugins back again.

I went thru a proccess of plugin elimination, and found if i deactivate all other plugins and only activate woocommerce then i cant login to wp-admin.

On the front end everything is working fine, and inside wp admin i can browse around and all is well, but as soon as i log out, i cant login again.

System report show all is ok.

It is driving me nuts, please can u offer help.

i already went thru the plugin elimination steps, by enabling one by one — if everything is disabled and I enable ONLY wooccomerce then then i cant login to wp admin.

So with ONLY woocommerce activated i cant login.
If i deactivate all plugins and then enable only non woocommerce plugins then no problem at all.

@royalmicer still I can’t reproduce it, any idea why?

If I knew, i would not have opened the thread.

I have now sorted out both the bllom plugin and the theme warnings in debug by still no luck.

ON the moment i see these entries in my error log:

[05-Jul-2016 13:28:56 UTC] PHP Notice: get_currentuserinfo is deprecated since version 4.5! Use wp_get_current_user() instead. in /home/asiavirt/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 3658

And the debug log show this:

@royalmicer It has no reason to stop being polite.
If your user is an administrator, you should be able to access, if the opposite has some custom code to avoid this in some plugin or theme.
Besides that if you are using the code that Mike showed, you should always be able to access the admin with any kind of user rule.
What happens when you try do login to the wp-admin?

    @claudio

I am trying to login as the administrator…

When i add in username and password, it is working: but then it show “Service unavailable”

@claudio if you are the woocommerce plugin author, and have access to woothemes support, could you look at support ticket 438646 which i opened 4 days ago. Those guys are so slow to respond. I have given my ftp and wp admin access in that ticket.

    Many thanks

    Plugin Contributor Claudio Sanches

    (@claudiosanches)

@royalmicer I don’t have access for it, but I’ll check if someone that have to check it for you.

@claudio thanks i have a guy called Caleb that is following up on the ticket…1 reply a day

Hope they can get it out, otherwise i will have to get a WP developer via some freelance forum to get it done

    Plugin Contributor Claudio Sanches

    (@claudiosanches)

@royalmicer I talked with him, he’ll help you.

Thanks but i had it with woocommerce support !!!
It is the worst of any software i use.
No one takes ownership of tickets and in 5 days i had 4 different people responding to my woocommerce support ticket and no one even did anything constructive. I get one response a day.

So to spare myself having to wait weeks to sort out a issue i will rather pay a freelancer a few $100 to get it sorted out in a hour or less.

Waiting for woocommerce support is like watching paint dry. I have 5000+ orders in my system i cant afford to deal with the ineffectiveness of woocommerce support.

    Plugin Contributor Claudio Sanches

    (@claudiosanches)

@royalmicer note that it what you are saying is not related to WooCommerce support here on w.org. If you have complaints about WooThemes.com or WooThemes product, you should go to the WooThemes.com.

    Thread Starter royalmicer

    (@royalmicer)

my complaint is related to the idiot support at this link — https://woothemes.com/my-account/tickets/?id=438646
    that link redirect to https://woocommerce.com/my-account/?redirect_to=%2Fmy-account%2Ftickets%2F%3Fid%3D438646

so yes it is related to crappy woccommerce support…

I also contacted you directely via your skype; but you never accepted my chat. Yes it was right skype address – same picture.

No point further updating this ticket as i allready have a wp developer looking into it, and mention he will sort it out in 15 min. Not 1 week like woocommerce support

    Plugin Contributor Claudio Sanches

    (@claudiosanches)

@royalmicer now you are violating the rules from this forum.

I also contacted you directely via your skype; but you never accepted my chat. Yes it was right skype address – same picture.

    My? Why?
My is skype is for my family and friends only.

    @royalmicer

Are you paying anything to WooCommerce / WooThemes that allows you to treat support like it’s an entitlement?

If so, please use the WooThemes/WooCommerce ticketing system. It will take time because they have many customers.

If you did not, I’d say that paying a developer to look at it was the right way to go.

As for the Skype thing, please note that ‘following users home’ isn’t allowed in the support forums.

Use the systems that are given to you, do not do things like hunt down skype IDs from their websites or what not to contact them.

You wouldn’t want that done to you, so don’t do it.

I’m closing this thread since help is no longer needed and it’s starting to become abusive.
