Unable to log into wp-login.php, redirect issue

    I have went through every option to fix my inability to log into wordpress via wp-login.php (https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Login_Trouble) without any success.

    My server setup is:
    cPanel Version 62.0 (build 31)
    Apache Version 2.2.31
    PHP Version 5.6.30
    MySQL Version 5.5.51-38.2
    Architecture x86_64
    OS linux

    What else can I try?

    Hi, Brent, & welcome. I am actually not having any difficulty reaching the login screen. Are you saying you can’t log in using your username & password? If that’s the case, could you please look in your address bar & give us the address you’re redirected to?

    Apologies for not being clearer. I can reach the login page fine, but actually logging in is the problem. I enter my credentials, and then submit, and the page refreshes with UN/PW fields blank and the URL changes to https://brentlarue.me/wp-login.php?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2Fbrentlarue.me%2Fwp-admin%2F&reauth=1.

    Hi,

    I have the same issue, it looks like immediate automatic logout after login.

    I tried to deactivate plugins, reset themes, htaccess, parts of wp-login.php regarding redirections etc and some other things. I don’t use SSL, the login page URL is correct and the same in settings and in wp-config.php.
    The most interesting thing is that the login process sometimes works fine (for few hours/dyas), but sometimes not.
    The problems started 2-3 weeks ago and it is very disturbing…

    Please help!
