• The theme is captivating and slick. Unfortunately, I spent all day figuring out how to migrate an install from dev to prod. In the transition, the database does not keep the configuration for sliders and featured pages. So they need to be reconfigured in the new environment. Not ready for prime time.

  • gmaresca,

As of today, out of 26 reviews with the majority of users giving 5 stars, you choose to rate this theme with only 2. I have an inclination to wonder why.

Two possible scenarios come to my mind:

    1. Maybe you weren’t familiar with (or prepared) to install your content
    in a Bootstrap-based theme; or

    2. Your database was not prepared for such an installation.

My concern is not whether Customizr is a good theme, but how you rated it as “Not ready for prime time”. Could another possibility be that YOU and your Content, were not ready for prime time?

Several years ago I built my own desktop computer using online purchased products from NewEgg. I used to thoroughly go through the reviews to make sure I was choosing top-of-the-line products. What struck me was even the best products had some negative reviews. Most of the time, it was the fault of the reviewer having issues that others did not have. I ignored those reviews, and never had problems with my purchases. In other words, there was nothing wrong with the products.

I don’t see any effort on your part to ask for help in the Customizr Support Forums. Have you done that yet, or did you just decide to slander the theme out of laziness? Why don’t you provide a link to your website for others to take a look at (I won’t be one of them).
