unable to modify table in Becrux – editing option not available

after upgrade to wordpress 5.2.1
cannot amend the table text
once click on it, it will remove the box and change to “text here”
means empty text fill agian

pls fix…

Yes, I am having exactly the same issue. Hope they will fix in the next update.

In the meantime, I have found the following workaround that may help those who wish to make a minor edit to an existing table:

1. Open the table you wish to edit
2. Click on the ‘Edit HTML’ button
3. Then search and replace the text you wish to change, click ‘ok’ and save. Note: when searching using the shortcut keys, be sure to click within the code first, otherwise it will search the browser page underneath:-)

Same here… Nothing has changed on my site in some time, IOW, no new plugins or theme changes that could cause a conflict.

Today, I went to modify a pricing table and the moment I click on the text I want to modify — it disappears and is replaced with the word “text”. Then to make things worse, although I DID NOT save, the text is gone. So there was an auto-save?

The interface now seems hyper-sensitive. When I put the cursor in the box that now only has the word text and hit backspace to try and remove the word “text” it is like I hit the back button in my browser.

Something is not working properly and I am unable to modify text in any of the tables that I’ve had setup for quite some time.

Will try the tip above in the meantime from @ankh247 (Thanks!)
