  • Sorry for the problem you are having. This sounds like one of a few things:

    1. You are running a php version on your web host older than 5.4 which can cause a wide variety of issues with any newer versions of WordPress depending on your website setup. (or the WordPress you are running is very old on newer php)

    2. There is a conflict with a theme or another plugin creating this issue

    3. There is a permissions issue with the user/site, you may want to ensure the user has those permissions using a member plugin or the sort to set the permissions correctly.

    Hope this helps,

    Hello Joseph,
Still having this problem and cannot seem to figure it out. PHP version is 5.5, we are using Avada theme which is usually compatible with anything as far as I know, permissions are all good. When you click to view the entry, to the right is a Move to Trash link which used to work fine. Since upgrading to Version 2.8.8 it no longer works. The only way to send an entry to trash is checking the box and clicking Move to Trash in the drop down.

I know this is kind of silly thing to worry about but the client wants to be able to move to trash while he is looking at an entry. Thanks for any help you can offer.

    Hello Cindy,

We will certainly look into the issue with our free version. Thanks for letting us know. Maybe try turning the theme off and see what happens.
