Unable to open my website and can't login to wp-admin

  • Hi everyone, I am new to WordPress! I was updating the site; suddenly it appears that I cannot access inside the side. I tried to go to Cpanel too! But I couldn’t access the website! I tried to open through the mobile using the wifi of home, I couldn’t access it, But when I used the Data from mobile provider to open the site, it opened. Then, I called my friend and told them to open the site, they were able to open it but I couldn’t access through my home wifi! Please help me on this!

  • Do you have any plugins installed that have the capability of locking out users or IP addresses (such as iThemes Security for example)?

    One thing you could try is renaming your .htaccess file to .htaccess.old to see if you can get WordPress to refresh your access rules. This might give you access again if your home WiFi was somehow locked out.
