Unable to open or download uploaded files in public and private folders

  • Hello, I downloaded and tried the BP Attachments plugin. After uploading an image I am able to view the files in the community library. This part works fine: On the media details page I am able to view the preview of the image. But when I try to click on “Open media page” or “Download media” it gives me a 404 page not found. The same things happens for files that are uploaded to the Private folders; i am unable to download the file. Can you help me figure out what is going on here?

    Hi!

    Please try to regenerate BP Attachments custom rewrite rules: WP Dashboard > Settings > Permalinks, then click on the “Save Changes” button.
