Unable to Optimize

    I am running through the first-time configuration and it is unable to optimize.

    I’m getting the error “We were unable to create the wordfence-waf.php file in the root of the WordPress installation. It’s possible WordPress cannot write to the wordfence-waf.php file because of file permissions. Please verify the permissions are correct and retry the installation.”

    I know the permissions are correct as other plugins are able to create files in the root directory.

    Please let me know what I can try next.

    Hello @chrislewis000,

    Could you confirm for me the permissions of the wp-content/wflogs folder? Also, if you could take a look at the permissions of the files in that folder, and let me know what the general pattern is there.

    What are the permissions on your root folder where the wp-admin, wp-content, etc resides?
