    Setting up new wooC. and wp shop all latest versions. Stripe payments show error on payments ‘Unable to process payments select other method’. No debug messages showing. All setup correctly in admin SSL showing on shop checkout and site. We’re in touch with STRIPE but they also suggest reaching out to you guys also.

    I would recommend checking your Stripe error logs (assuming that you’ve enabled logging).

    To enable logging, go to WooCommerce → Settings → Payments → Stripe and enable the Log debug messages checkbox as shown in this screenshot – https://cld.wthms.co/VXQRo1

    Once you’ve done that, perform another transaction so that the logs can be populated.

    To view the logs, go to WooCommerce → Status → Logs, select Stripe from the dropdown and see what’s in there.

    More than likely there’s an issue with your settings and the logs should reveal what’s gone awry.

    Hi Luminus, thanks for your quick reply. I checked again after a transaction and there are no error logs for stripe. I know the logs are working as there was a previous messages for an incorrect key. However the keys are now corrected and nothing is showing as faulty after the last failed transaction.

    That’s pretty odd.

    Could you please share a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it by going to “WooCommerce → Status” in your site’s WP-Admin.

    Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, paste it into a .txt file and upload that to Google Drive, Dropbox or some other such service and paste a link to that here.

    If you could also switch Stripe to sandbox mode and provide a link to your site so I can attempt a transaction there, I’ll be able to take a bit of a closer look.

    Hi Luminus, thank-you for your follow-up. I contacted stripe and they looked at my logs on their side, as nothing showed up on woocommerce. They found that the wrong keys were inserted and suggested I entered them again. Without doubt the correct keys were entered, but I cleared the site cache and server cache/ object cache and tried a stripe transaction again. This cleared the data and the stripe plugin now works ok. I assume the test keys were somehow still active and that’s why there was an error.
