Unable to post new pages since WP 5.0 updates

    Every since my site updated to the latest version of WordPress (5.0.x), I’ve been unable to post new pages or posts. I get the ‘Updating failed’ error in read on the edit screen and errors in Chrome Dev. Tools. Here is the error that I’m getting below via Chrome Dev. Tools:

    post-new.php?post_type=page:1

    Access to fetch at ‘https://www.<myDOMAIN>/wp-json/wp/v2/users/?who=authors&per_page=100&_locale=user‘ from origin ‘https://<myDOMAIN&gt;‘ has been blocked by CORS policy:

    Request header field X-WP-Nonce is not allowed by Access-Control-Allow-Headers in preflight response.

    I’ve tried searching to see what the issue maybe, but I’ve failed for over a week now. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
