Unable to prevent duplicate CONTENT (URLs)

I’ve migrated from All-in-One-SEO to WordPress SEO by Yoast with the hope of preventing my WP software to generate internal duplicate content (pages, tags etc.).
But Alas! It’s still generating all the duplicate content. I have made the required changes in the plugin setting like below:
Titles and Metas —> noIndex,follow for CATEGORIES, TAGS, FORMATS and GALLERY CATEGORIES
It’s already 2 months left but without any results. Any suggestion is most welcome.
