my issue is We provide free samples of products on
our website but take shipping fee $20 for each of a sample. But when
someone tries to get the sample, they get the error message “your order
amount is zero, We were unable to process your order, please try again.”
ex: product cost is 0 but shipping cost is $20 so the total is 0+20=20.
But woo commerce doesn’t allow to proceed to Paypal and stop the
purchase with the above error message although the total cost is $20 and
not $0. We want to allow our customer to get these free sample. Please
    resolve the issue.
My website https://www.mybukhoor.net is currently offline, I used Divi theme by elegant themes and Papal express checkout.

You could make the “free sample” $20 and then offer free shipping… You would just want language that explains the fee the user is paying is a shipping fee on the product’s page. Or you could make the sample cost a penny and shipping $19.99.

Different payment gateways are more or less strict about this sort of thing– PayPal doesn’t allow $0 checkout with a shipping cost, but other payment methods that just run the total price including shipping are less concerned.

    Hi, Smith.
I changed the “free sample” to $20 and shipping cost to zero. I created 2 shipping classes in woo commerce settings. 1 is free shipping and another is flat rate $20. Then I went to each product->shipping and selected “free shipping” class for all sample products and “flat rate” for paid products.
The problem is that whichever product is selected, the cart shows both the options(free shipping and flat rate) with a radio button. The free shipping option should only be shown when the free sample is selected and flat rate should be shown to all paid products.

(I tried both the calculation types 1)Per class: charge shipping for each shipping class individually
2)Per order: charge shipping for the most expensive shipping class)

Could you please suggest anything to resolve this issue.
    Thanks a lot in advance.

(Boss requirement is not to use 0.01 and 99.99).
