    Hi,

When a customer tried to check out today, he encountered an error code – “Unable to process this payment, please try again or use alternative method”.

He tried on 2 separate computers and called us for help. I used my own credit card to place an order with no problems, and then I tried to use his credit card, but it gives me the error code immediately on multiple occasions.

The customer called his MasterCard company and the agent told him that his card is in good standing and they did not see a charge request from us.

When I log in to the Stripe Dashboard, I can see that there are 16 errors today, all by the same customer.

Can you please look into this and let us know what had caused the issue? Thank you!

  • Hi @xiaobijou – that’s a pretty standard (vague) decline message from Stripe. I’m not able to tell from my end what that’s related to. Can you reach out to Stripe and ask them to look into why they declined the charge? We’ll keep this open so that you can fill us in when you hear back.

    Hey @xiaobijou

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.

    Thanks,
