    I seem unable to process refunds in my Woocommerce dashboard. All of my orders state “this order is no longer editable” and “to edit the order, change the status back to Pending Payment”. However when I do that, the Refund field is still grayed out and won’t accept any input.

    I had to process a refund for a customer, directly through my Square account and I need my woocommerce account to match…

    Thank you for contacting WooCommerce Plugin Support. I understand you’re having trouble processing refunds through your WooCommerce dashboard. Firstly, could you please confirm if you have the latest version of WooCommerce installed? If your WooCommerce is up-to-date, the issue might be related to the order status. When an order is marked as ‘Completed’, it can no longer be edited. However, you should still be able to process refunds.

    If the ‘Refund’ button is still grayed out after changing the order status back to ‘Pending Payment’, it might be a problem with your payment gateway settings. Could you please provide more information about your payment gateway settings?

    Lastly, could you please provide a copy of your WooCommerce System Status report? This will help us diagnose if any server or configuration issues might be causing this problem.
