Unable to read or locate the folder

  • I’m unable to point this plugin to any local media in the library or not. I get: Unable to read or locate the folder /web/wp-content check the path and folder permissions

    I’m hosting my own site for now on a debian box with ISPConfig3. I’m new to all this but everything I’ve tried doesn’t work. I’ve checked permissions, tried different folders, nothing. Tried this

    Ideally I would like to point this plugin away from the wp-content and to a local drive, I’m not sure if symlinks would do this?

    Hello, you don’t need to point the default folder anywhere if you intend to play your media librabry files. You can just use the playlist builder in WP, or you can write shortcodes directly using filenames.

    Examples: Adding Players

    Symlinks are not supported by the plugin.
