Unable to reconnect with Lightspeed API

I am unable to reconnect to Lightspeed via API using the Lightspeed Woocommerce plugin. When I click on ‘Reconnect with Lightspeed’ within the plugin settings, it is redirecting me to my homepage instead of prompting me to log into my lightspeed account. I noticed in version 2.16.0 there was an update made that says “Upgrade to Kestrel Connect for connecting to Lightspeed” but I’m not understanding what this means. I’m currently on version 2.0.0. Can anyone help shed light on what is going on?
