Unable to register on www.ads-software.com

  • Hi.

    I have a friend who recently jumped on the WordPress bandwagon, but she can’t get registered to these forums because her email address is longer than the space allowed on the register email box – it cuts off the “m” for .com. Kinda funny to me, but disappointing for her – she’s not interested in creating some fake hotmail account just to get signed in.

    Can the email slot be updated to allow for a bit more space? Thanks!

  • I’d tell her not to worry – leave it blank even.
    We don’t use that information at all, so it being there, or being correct / incorrect or being absent matters not ??

    Actually, you do use that information; how is she meant to get her autogenerated password sent to her without an email address?
