Hi, I had wordpress working, then tried to download something else which started to overwrite wordpress, so I backed off. (too late)
I have since deleted wordpress so that I can reinstall it.
I only get to level 2/3 and get this message “(path=”/home/edj25789/public_html/”).You must manually remove these files before proceeding with auto-installation:
    wp-admin
    wp-content
    wp-includes”

Can you help or do I get my hosting to remove it.
    Thanks ed

  • Log into either the file manager for your hosting account or your FTP client and delete the files specified.

Thank you for your answers, I did go to file manager and followed the path given. I deleted wp-admin, content & includes but I would do out of the page and when I went back into the page again they were all back there again. ed
