I have used wp-optimize on several sites and like it. The other day, I had to do a full restore of a site, restoring both the database and all files. At first, the site was inaccessible, so I renamed wp-optimize folder to XXwp-optimize via FTP and was then able to see the site and login. But then I couldn’t list plugins without getting this error message:

“No such file or directory in /home/xxx/public_html/wpsamp/wp-content/plugins/wp-optimize/wp-optimize.php on line 72” (and also lines 130 and 131)

This happens whether I rename the plugin folder or not. I was hoping to be able to fully remove the plugin and reinstall, but I”m stuck. The site works, but I can’t access any plugins. Please advise how to remove all references to wp-optimize and I will be very thankful. Thanks.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Update: I was able to get wp-optimize installed again by downloading, unzipping, and using FTP. It’s now working, but whenever I click ‘Installed Plugins’ in left sidebar, the error messages mentioned still appear. So, all is now working except I would like to be able to remove those now meaningless error messages. Thanks for any suggestions in doing that.

    Hi,

Apologies, it appears that the thread was buried.

Do the errors still appear with the latest version of the plugin?

Problem is gone. It took a few days, but it just disappeared, even before updating with latest versions. Thanks for your reply, anyway. Nice plugin.
