    Hi,

I have installed over 50 wordpress sites to date and never had this issue before. I’m now installing this for a client (on his linux hosting account) and I’m unable to rename wp-content folded with Better WP Security. Everytime I enter new name and click ‘Save’ I get the following error: “Unable to rename the wp-content folder. Operation cancelled.” Even tried temporarily change permissions to 777 on .htaccess & wp-config. Need help! Thanks!

Thanks, just sent you an email

    Hi
First of all, thanks for your great Better WP Security plugin!

I’ve the same problem as “thepresident”, and I’m wondering if you have found a solution for it? I’m working in dev environment.

I’ve got the same problem on a fresh install of WordPress 3.7 using a LAMP stack. The only other thing I’ve done with this install, besides set up Better WP Security, is set up permalinks and activate Askimet. Seems like something must be broken.

PS — Thanks for your efforts! I, like many others, appreciate this wonderful plugin. ?? I’ve donated to the cause. Keep it up!
