Unable to reset Quiz Views and Taken Stats

  • Hey Frank,

    Firstly, thank you so much for this awesome plugin! It’s made my/our lives SO much easier!!

    Recently, I’ve been unable to use the option under “Tools” to reset views and taken stats. I do a lot of testing before issuing a quiz and I’d like to reset the stats just before sending out. When I press the button, nothing happens – the page doesn’t refresh, no error, no message, etc. Just nothing.

    I’m sure this used to work but I have no idea when it stopped working. I’ve tried it in IE, Chrome, FF, Safari, and Opera and none of them work.

    I’ve just updated to 4.6.7 from (I think) 4.2.x but the same thing occurs. I’m currently using WordPress v4.3.2.

    I’ve switched to the Twenty Fifteen/Sixteen themes see if that would help (even though it’s a backend issue) but still the same.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you for choosing to use this plugin! That button should reset the values on the Quizzes/Surveys page. What are your values showing on the Quizzes/Surveys page?

    Hey, the Views and Taken values aren’t resetting.

    When you click the “Reset Quiz Views And Taken Stats” button, a popup should appear similar to the one found when creating a new quiz on the “Quizzes/Surveys” page. Does that popup show up for you? If so, when clicking the confirm button in the popup, does the “Success! The stats has been reset successfully.” message appear at all?

    Do you have any issues with seeing the popups on the Quizzes/Surveys page at all? Do you have any issues with creating/editing questions? The reset views system uses the same JavaScript as these so if those work, it will help narrow down the possible areas of conflicts.

    Hey,

    No, I have no other issues with the plugin (which is why I find it great!). It’s just this reset issue. I don’t get any popup or confirmation. The button just does nothing when clicked.

    Is there any other workaround I can use to reset the figures? Can I run a script on the DB to clear them?

    No worries if it can’t be resolved as I’m thinking it must be a conflict with something on my site. I don’t think it’s worth troubleshooting for something so small.
