Unable to resize thumbnails

I have this plugin running here: https://thecrestedfrog.com/video-vault
And it works, but I can only set the thumbnail size IF I set the Video effect to Thickbox….
Weird? So if I set it to Shadowbox or Fancybox, the thubnails are huge as in https://thecrestedfrog.com/video-vault
Ideas?
(if set to hardbox, it displays the columns of thumbnails properly. Yes I tried disabling Timthumbs)
