    Hello Support,
I am testing your plug-in and running into an issue while migrating my first site. My goal is to migrate site1 to site 2.
I am able to install plugin on site1 and able to generate backup
but I am getting the bellow error when trying to restore it on site2

I have checked the permission for wp-content/ and it is set to 755

On site2 I am able to generate backup and also able to download it, but I am not able to manually upload a new backup on site2.

Site 2 is running on a docker container. Behind a load balancer and firewall. Do you see what the problem could be ?

    Thanks

I have done another test on site 2. As described above , I am able to generate back up and able to download it, but I am not able to upload it.
So I try to upload the same backup file I generated on site 2 and got a message telling me that the file must be unique.
From here I can conclude that the plugin is able to pick the file and cannot uploaded it as it already exist on the site.

But it will not let me upload it when I change the same.

What is going on here, please ?

    Thanks

    Hi @ouamboh

The issue is not caused by your site2 but site1.
Backup is protected by our plugin or some other security plugin.

To solve the issue, please try these steps on your site1:
    1. Enter our settings and open second section
    2. Make sure your backup is not protected (pick yes): https://prnt.sc/SVZjQ_m3Ku57
    3. Then save that section and open “Other options” section
    4. Enable alternate download method: https://prnt.sc/1slr41w
    5. Disable any security plugin you may have e.g. WordFence or iThemes Security
    6. Try to download the file to your PC via backups list.

If you successfully download the file, you can:
    a) Try to use Super-Quick Migration module once again
    b) Upload your backup manually via FTP
    – You can find the path below our upload area

Let me know if that solves the issue ??
    Thank you!

    Hello,
I have always been able to download the back-up file for site1 or site 2 without issues. Anyway, I tried your steps, but it did not help with the super quick migration.

I am now looking into ways of uploading the dump via ftp

I have uploaded the dump manually and started the process to restore . last line says “All file restored successfully” but it has been running for 2 hrs since that last entry. I don’t know if it is still running or stuck… ,

Migration is still running after 7 Hrs, and I see no CPU, Memory or Hard drive usage on the server. I think I will it. Is there anything else I can do ?

    Thread Starter ouamboh

    (@ouamboh)

I killed it after 10 hours and it corrupted the site 2. I will reset and try again . us there a more detailed log to show what is going on that we can access to troubleshoot the issue? the one available in the UI I think is not detailed enough

    Hi @ouamboh

The files were restored but it was just first half of the process.
Seems that second part was not triggered.

Such issue may be caused by screen-saver or hard-drive pause mode.
    – Don’t allow your device to sleep, it’s used to keep the process alive.

Before you start it again, please:
    Force stop both processes: https://prnt.sc/1trv1tm
That should delete all temporary files and stop the process properly.

    Hope that will help ??

As we didn’t hear any reply in last days.
I can assume that you resolved the issue.

Feel free to open new topic if I am wrong!
    Thank you ??
