Unable to retrieve Merchant Center account status.

Sorry to hear about the trouble you’ve had connecting. Let’s try this first. Go to this URL and disconnect the site. Then try reconnecting it.

https://site.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=connection-test-admin-page

Just replace site.com with the URL to your site. Let us know how that goes.

Thanks for your response. So I disconnected the site from the Google account and went through the process again and received the same error.

I’ve managed to solve it by simply clicking on “or create a new Merchant Account”. It’s having trouble connecting to an existing Merchant Account so just create a new one seems to fix it.

I’m getting the same error “Unable to retrieve Merchant Center account status.” during setup when connecting to the Merchant Account for one of our clients websites. It won’t allow me to connect and I have followed all advise and suggestions found on here.

Can someone please assist in support.
