• Hi I’m running Twenty Twelve theme, single site setup. I have the “IFrame popup” plugin. For a particular user (they have editor permission), I want to hide everything in the Settings menu except for the IFrame popup settings. So I have the main settings box un-ticked, but all the sub-menu boxes ticked except for IFrame popup. But when the user logs in, the entire settings menu is hidden. Can you help? I can provide screenshots if required. Thanks.

Thanks for the bug report. Can you verify the version of WordPress you are using, also what other plugins you have enabled if any? Also, is the iFrame popup plugin in the repository (can you send me a link so I know i’m testing the right one?

I think this is enough information to reproduce the issue; I’ve been pretty busy but will try to take a look at this soon.

Appologies for taking a while to get back to this.

I tried this with just the ‘iframe popup’ plugin and it worked without a problem. Here is the settings screen where I set the user’s menus: https://cl.ly/image/1L3617421G2Q and here is what the user sees when logged in: https://cl.ly/image/2x25452a1244

I haven’t tried installing the rest of your plugins, there may be a conflict in there somewhere. can you help troubleshoot by disabling all your plugins other than the iframe popup plugin and see if the menu simplifier works then? If so, re-enable the plugins one by one to see when the problem crops back up. Let me know the conflicting plugina nd I will investigate the root cause.

    Thanks!
