    Hello,

    Currently, I am working on updating a company website. When I started I have been developing it in a local environment. Later I moved it to an online test environment using duplicator. This went without issues. I developed the site further, and a few days ago, decided it was ready to be put on the main domain. Unfortunately this did not go well. I’ve done everything the way I did it the first time, but this time I can’t seem to run the installer. When I try to run it by going to https://passiefkozijn.upxsite.nl/installer.php I get a long string of code, but not the installer. You can check by going to the url. Right now, I am also unable to access the WP dashboard of the website (the files got deleted for some reason), so I cannot create another package & installer with duplicator. I have made several backups and am now in the process of trying to restore the site. Does anyone know what this problem with the installer is and how to fix it? It would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks

    I have managed to access the WP dashboard again and created a new package and installer for the site. But when I try to run it I get the same result..

    Hey steef076,

    Checkout this question on the FAQs page I believe it may help or provide some clues about this issue:

    -> Browse to: https://lifeinthegrid.com/duplicator-faq
    -> Find question: “Why do I see plain/binary text, parse errors or download prompts when running installer?”

    Hope that helps!
